A Little History:
The Club has taken part in Scor competitions from the very start when the competition was first formed. The earliest success we had was in 1979 local entry Johnny Pat won the mid Armagh Final and went on to the County Final with his recitation. The following year we enjoyed further success when the young Makem brothers of Tom on banjo and Gerry on bagpipes went on to win the county final.
Scor fell away for a few years and was resurrected more recently with the help of Dessie Mc Ardle, Nicola Haughey and Ronan Finnegan. We have had more successes at both Scor and Scor na nOg over recent years. We now enjoy weekly practices over the winter months along with Traditional Sessions and Sing a Longs in The Social Club on the last Saturday of every month.
